THE WINDOW TO THE FUTURE ON THE SISSLERFIELD
A landmark that promotes transparency and participation in the Sisslerfeld area: The over ten-meter-high wooden tower with a viewing platform for around 50 people (30 seats) is intended to make the transformation of the industrial wasteland directly tangible for all interested parties in the long term and to become a landmark and distinguishing feature in the region. Following its inauguration on the third Sisslerfeld Day 2025 in Sisseln on September 13, 2025, the platform will be permanently installed in Sisslerfeld from 2026 onwards for events, guided tours, and excursions.
The Sisslerfeld platform was created on the initiative of Ingo Anders (Eiken/Sønderborg) and Christoph Grenacher (Ittenthal) as a learning project of the timber construction company Häring AG in Eiken.
