Welcome to my annual galleries, where I continually present new traditions of the Laufenburg Carnival. The artfully carved masks, displayed in all their splendor, are particularly impressive during Carnival. The lively satirical songs also create unforgettable moments and bring the traditions to life. Let yourself be inspired by the diversity and creativity!
Laufenburg Carnival 2025:
The March of the Fools and the Carnival Burning
The Laufenburg Carnival is a major cultural event for young and old. For centuries, traditions have been preserved and passed down. Dear revelers and those who aspire to be, visit our beautiful town and join in the singing, dancing, and laughter. Narri Narro!
More information about the Laufenburg Carnival can be found in the menu.

Marsch der Narronen

On Ash Wednesday, Carnival is symbolically buried. The drummers lead the funeral procession, accompanied by lamentations, carrying the Böögg through the narrow streets of the old town. At the old armory, the Carnival priest reads aloud all the sins committed during Carnival. Afterwards, the Böögg, and thus Carnival itself, is burned in the square.
Motto: It's going against you!
